Story

Our beautiful Kay, she was first diagnosed with breast cancer in 2009 and lived with this horrible disease since then.

She had an incredible life and lived it to the full, she enjoyed everything she did and was loved by everyone who met her.Unfortunately she started to become really ill at the beginning of this year which devastated her and the whole family. We cannot express how much she will be missed by everyone who knew her.The last five weeks of her life were spent in St Joseph's hospice, where she was looked after by the incredible staff. Sadly her life came to an end on Sunday 5th June.

The care and support that she received from the staff and volunteers at St Joseph's hospice allowed her to be comfortable and supported in her last days.

St Joseph's also has also supported Kay's family and we remain eternally grateful for all the thoughtful kindness we have received.

The hospice runs mainly on donations and any support that Kay's friends and family can offer would be appreciated.
