I will be walking the Cancer Research 'Shine' marathon in London on 29 September, along with friends and family. I gave birth to my little boy, Eric, in January of this year and am lucky to have the support of a healthy, happy family. Unfortunately,  I lost my grandfather to pancreatic cancer when i was just a few months old and can't imagine having to go through the loss of a parent now that I have a little one myself. I hope that the money we raise can contribute in some small way to a cure to save people going through the heartwrentching loss of a loved one to this awful disease.
