Story
This March, for my 32nd birthday, I'm taking on the Walk in Her Name challenge and walking 100km to help fund life-saving ovarian cancer research (personal target:£320, for 32).
This cause is deeply personal to me. My cousin, D (who means the 🌎 and more!), has faced this journey head on, including major surgery/complications at a time when our family was already facing so much loss. She's met the challenge with courage, humor, and grit.
Her motto says it best: CAGNOM (Cancer Ain't Got Nothing On Me).
I’m walking to honor her tenacity, to support other women on this journey, and to remember those we've lost too soon.
If you're able to donate, thank you for helping fund research, treatment, and support for the future.
