Story
In 2010 my family lost an amazing woman to a terrible disease. Sarah was the life and soul of her family who would have done anything and everything for her kids. When I first met Sarah she was smiling and this is the way she will always be remembered. Unfortunately she lost her battle with cancer in November 2010. She left behind two children, Matthew (my now husband) who was 18 and Rebekah who was just 11. Macmillan were with Sarah and her family every step of the way.
One day we WILL beat cancer, but until that day it is organisations like Macmillan that are there to help pick up the pieces left behind in its devastating path.
£28 could pay for a Macmillan nurse for an hour, helping people living with cancer and their families receive essential medical, practical and emotional support.
