This year I decided why not do something totally crazy!! So along with two amazing friends (Angels), I will be taking part in the Wye Valley Challenge!! In which we will be walking the distance of 100km (62 miles)!!! And...... We are hoping to complete this within 24 hours!!! It's going to be quite an awesome adventure!!

The charity I have chosen to raise money for, while doing this event is Alzheimer's Society...... It is a course that is very close to my heart and means a lot to my family.
One which works extremely hard to support people suffering with this disease, along with their families, and will, hopefully one day, go on to find a cure to beat dementia!

My reason for picking this particular charity, and for wanting to complete this mighty challenge, is in memory of my Grandmother.
She was diagnosed with Alzheimer's Disease in her early 50's and lived with the disease for many years.

This year will mark 8 years since we lost her and there still isn't a day that goes by when I don't think of her and the happy memories we shared.
She was a fantastic lady and I just know that she would have loved the idea of this challenge. We always enjoyed going out walking together and would walk for miles, so what better way to pay tribute to her.

And so with the support of family and friends, for my Nan, for my loved ones and for all the people who are suffering today, my aim is to raise as much as possible, for this incredible charity and I throw myself into the biggest challenge of my life so far!!
