Race for Life Irvine 10k 2014 · 18 May 2014 ·
Thanks for visiting my Race for Life page. I am an unfit asthmatic that could barely jog 90 seconds only a few weeks ago. Running 10k sounds impossible to even myself right now.
I am one of the millions of people who have been affected by cancer, sadly my Gran passed away after a battle with lung cancer. She was a no nonsense woman that was not shy at telling me to get my act together and get healthy. She was a real inspiration, she fought cancer her way and refused to let it defeat her until she was good and ready. By the date of the 10k it will be 2 years since she left us so it's about time I done as my wee Gran told me.
Everyone will be affected by cancer at some point in their life, so lets do what we can to kick this nasty disease where it hurts and make it history!
Please dig deep and sponsor me online - it's quick, easy and totally secure. I will also have sponsor sheets for those who don't want to donate online. So there's no excuses.
