Thank you for visiting my page. On the 18th September I will be taking on the Yorkshire Three Peaks, where my plan is to reach the summit of three bloomin' big hills - Ingleborough, Whernside and Pen-Y-Ghent in 12 hours. 

I am doing this in memory of my Mum, Bev, and raising money for Herriot Hospice Homecare, a charity that supports families living with terminal illnesses and bereavement across Hambleton and Richmondshire. 

To put it simply, without the staff at Herriot Hospice Homecare (as well as St Michaels and Macmillian), we would not have been able to keep our last promise to Mum - which was to make sure that whatever happened, she was able to stay at home throughout her illness and in the last weeks and days of her life, be surrounded by the people and things she loved the most - and for that I will be forever grateful to them. Every day the staff arrived with a smile on their faces, ready to have a laugh and a joke, which brought a little light in for us even on the darkest of days. They are just wonderful humans! 

By making a donation, you will be ensuring that they can continue to help and support families across Hambleton and Richmondshire in their time of need. Throughout the pandemic they have continued to provide specialist care and be there for the community, during the most challenging of times and they are so needed.
