Event: St Wilfrid's Moonlight Walk Week 2021, from 4 September 2021 to 11 September 2021
In memory of Kay O’Grady
St Wilfrid's Moonlight Walk Week returns! This year our official Moonlight Walk Week will be between Saturday 4th and Saturday 11th September 2021 with two special ways to take part on a sponsored 5 or 10-mile walk to remember.

Story

Our lovely and amazing Kay, who sadly lost her brave fight for cancer this year. Kay was a proud wife and Mum to Steve, Ollie and Daphne.
Kay will always be remembered as a bright ray of sunshine in our lives, who always had time for everyone, a beautiful smile on her face, that infectious laugh and her incredible ‘positive pants’ attitude to life. We will all do our best to continue our lives without Kay by our side, she will never be forgotten and will always hold a special place in our hearts.

So that we can honour Kay’s memory, her friends and family will be taking part in the 10 Mile Moonlight Walk to raise money for a very worthy charity, St Wilfrid’s Hospice. They have helped Kay & Steve massively throughout the last year to provide the care and support they needed and especially near to the end of Kay’s illness. By supporting this great charity we can give a little back and help make a difference for families in a similar situation.

So come on everyone, please help support us to raise as much money as we can. Let’s put on those walking shoes, smiley faces, laugh, sing (badly!) and let’s do Kay proud!
