I'M ON A MISSION MY FRIENDS WITH A 10 EVENT CHALLENGE
As most of you know, my extremely lovely Dad has prostate cancer and I'd love to do my bit to get some dosh raised for Prostate Cancer UK this year. Far too many men are diagnosed very late, due to there not being a screening process in the UK.
• It is the most commonly diagnosed cancer in the UK
• 129 men are diagnosed every day
• Every 45 minutes a man dies of prostate cancer
• 400,000 men are living with or after it right now
• 1 in 8 men get it in their lifetime
What can I do about it? Nothing really, except walk to get the well needed funds.
I'll be taking on more challenges than ever during the rest of this year and need your help, motivating me to keep going. It's well worth your Covid-cancelled holiday money.....I promise.
You wont be judged for not donating, but if I see you in the street, I'll punch ya in your vaccination arm lol! I seriously don't care if you donate just 50 pence, but everything counts, so THANK YOU very much indeed.
