Durham County Cricket Foundation uses the power of cricket to empower, connect and inspire communities. Based at Banks Homes Riverside in Chester le Street, we strive to improve physical and mental health of people of all ages and provide life changing opportunities for all.

My name is Keaton and I am the current Durham CCC opening batsman and England cricketer.

I have decided to run the Great North Run this year as I've always wanted to do the event but my training and fixture schedule always clashed with the race. However, this year we have a break in the fixtures so I've been fitting in some training in between cricket!

Having the opportunity to run the GNR for the Foundation is fantastic. A as an ambassador for the charity, I've always wanted to give something back to the game of cricket and hopefully inspire more people to achieve their potential through sport.

The Foundation works across the North East is to inspire vibrant, healthy and happy communities. We provide support to individuals to achieve their potential and aim to drive the aspirations of the local North East community to a higher level.
