Starting on Wednesday 6th May, every day, for 10 days, I will complete the equivalent distance of an Ironman 70.3 triathlon whilst adhering to social distancing rules.  Every day, I will complete a 35 min strength/core circuits set (in place of the swim), ride 1,000km on an indoor bike via Zwift online (extended by 10km to keep it indoors) and run 10km.  10 Days, 10 x Circuits, 1,000km cycling and 100km running in total.

One woman in four will experience domestic violence at some point in her lifetime and two women are killed each week in England and Wales by a current or former partner. Refuge supports around 6,000 women & children on any given day, experiencing domestic and sexual violence, female genital mutilation, forced marriage, stalking, trafficking, prostitution & so-called ‘honour’ based violence.  Covid 19 has introduced an increased threat to women and children in abusive environments due to the National Lockdown.
