After the success of last years Yorkshire 3 Peak Challenge we’re taking on something slightly harder, and completing the Welsh 3 Peaks all in one day. We're doing this to raise money for S.O.S silence of suicide. This charity was started by one of our very own Alumni Michael Mansfield QC and his partner Yvette Greenway.
They are trying to reduce stigma, shame, and silence that goes hand in hand when someone is feeling depressed and having thoughts of suicide. S.OS aim to work with young people and set up a help line for post meetings and offering on going support.
A message from Michael Mansfield and Yvette Greenway: “Every step you take and every pound you make will give hope and respite to those for whom daily mental wellbeing has become an overwhelming, onerous and oppressive burden. Together we can lift that by conversation communication and contact. Stop the Silence.”
