Thames Bridges Trek 2023 · 9 September 2023 to 10 September 2023 ·
Hi, I was introduced to the charity through my father in law Kenny “spanner’s” Flemwell who had been involved in this charity for a long time. Along with my partner Scott (Kenny’s son)I became a passionate volunteer for this amazing charity and help out in any which way I can.
Unfortunately my heart broke on July the 8th this year when Scott unfortunately passed away at just 40 years old. We both love this charity so much and so I am taking part in this challenge as I know he would have pushed for me to do this if he was still here with us. Not only do I dedicate this walk in the charity’s name, I also dedicate it to my late partner Scott..
It truly is an amazing charity that does amazing things for our veterans, from taking them shopping to taking them across Europe to revisit their memories. Let’s support the amazing men and women who put themselves in the firing line to give us our freedom today 💜
So on the 9th of September I will be joining other Taxi drivers, committee members and supporters of Taxi Charity For Military Veterans and completing a 25km walk from PUTNEY BRIDGE and zig-zagging over every bridge across London and finishing in the heart of the city.. I better pack my plasters!! #CrossThatBridgeWhenWeGetToIt x
