Story
I'm running (hobbling) the London Marathon 2018 to raise
money for a new, accessible exhibition space at the Living Rainforest. This will provide an immersive educational experience for people with physical or learning disabilities.
Growing Space project at the Living Rainforest.
Rainforests make up just 2% of the earth’s surface and are critical to the sustainability of the earth –but are constantly under threat from practices such as agriculture and logging.
The Living Rainforest plays a vital role in educating the public about these precious ecosystems, and currently receives over 96,000
visitors a year.
This new ‘science of life’ themed exhibition building will greatly extend their reach – especially to people with special educational needs – and
will also benefit a wide range of other visitors, including especially families with young children.
