You're locked down. I'm locked down. We're all locked down. We're using this period to see how much peer pressure and time it takes to turn a rubbish footballer (but brilliant teacher!) into a keepy ups superstar. Spoiler alert - we're in it for the long haul.

We thought we'd use a challenge we set Odin last month (and feel free to copy) to do some good for an amazing charity which we think he'd approve of - Place2Be.

Looking after our mental health at home is not easy. The same isolation challenges affecting adults are even more traumatic for children, especially those living in challenging circumstances. Place2Be is a children's mental health charity which works in schools throughout the UK.

With school closures and lots of uncertainty, they are working hard to ensure they can support as many children, young people and families as possible during this unsettling time.

Place2Be have a range of wellbeing tips, advice and activities for young people, parents and teachers, with lots of digital support tools for children.

We know that 1 in 8 children today have a diagnosable mental health problem. And 50% of people with lifetime mental health problems first experience symptoms by the age 14.

With so much uncertainty in the world, children and young people need our emotional support now more than ever. Please be as generous as you can.

Inspired by Odin’s dedication to his pupils and his keepy ups his family and friends would be so grateful for any support you're able to give - together we can make a real and positive difference to children's mental health.
