Story

On the 23rd of April 2022, a group of friends and I, which go by the name ‘Arlo’s Army’ will be walking from Skipton train station to The Commercial pub, Methley. This walk is roughly 40 miles following the Leeds and Liverpool canal and will take 12 hours plus. Not only this, a group will be running this very route, which is nearly TWO marathons, in the day! You can donate to the running group separately here ⬇️

In July last year, Arlo’s Army cycled from Castleford to Bridlington, and BACK, to raise a massive £12,000 plus split between two charities, one being the Give A Duck Foundation. This time, 100% of funds raised from both the walking event and running event will go directly to GAD. Can we beat that?

We hope to raise enough money to buy 200 ducks for The Give A Duck Foundation which works out at £5,000. Read more about the charity and what the ducks do here ⬇️

We’ve picked this amazing charity due to the help, support and love they gave to our friends Paul and Jodie and their little warrior Arlo.
