We have been supporting Macmillan Cancer Support for over 20 years and have organised many events for them with the help of the CWU and Royal Mail.

The we started with  pushing delivery barrows to Tower Bridge from Southend Post Office. Pushing the  barrows a total of 59 miles in 18 hours!

This followed with a climb up to the peak of Mount Snowdon and Scarfell pushing, pulling and carrying barrows to the top.

 we then climbed Ben Nevis,  and we believe the only people ever to complete the three peak challenge carrying a barrow..

2017 Eighteen of us rode to Blaxhall in Suffolk and back to Southend a total of 160 miles on post office bikes  

2018 we rode post office bikes up alp d huez 

2019 we achieved the challenge of riding post office delivery bikes coast to coast .   2020 our toughest year but still managed to raise money. 2021 inspired by a wonderful anonymous  donation to bring back the Danny Elgar football match against the Fire Brigade .
