I have foolishly decided to cycle from Leighton Hospital in Cheshire to La Rochelle to raise much needed cash for Macmillan and to thank them for their amazing work.  15 MSP and Indutrade cycle mad colleagues will be riding with me for the UK bit (220 miles) and then I'll be going solo once I cross the channel to France.  In total, it's a tad over 500 miles and should take around 7 days of cycling (and a few paracetamol).
