The King’s Trust supports 11 to 30 year-olds who are unemployed or struggling at school to get their lives on track. Many of the young people we support are in or leaving care, have been in trouble with the law, or they are facing challenges such as homelessness or mental health issues.

Story

The idea of taking part in an intense physical challenge whilst raising money for charity had probably appealed to many of us in the past. With the second anniversary of the RBS European Operations Centre in Manchester on the horizon, we spotted a perfect opportunity to do something different and decided to recruit a team to cycle to from London to Manchester, covering over 200 miles in 3 days!

After a fantastic response and interest in the challenge, we now have over 25 people taking part in the challenge, ranging from experienced cyclists to novices. As well as being attracted by the physical demands of such a challenge, we were also inspired to raise money for The Prince's Trust who do amazing work with young people, providing them with much needed practical and financial support.

We'd like to thank everyone who is taking time out to support us in our journey and for all your donations. It really will make a difference and keep the legs turning, especially up hills and at the end of a long day on the saddle.

Many thanks.
