I was born in Waco, Texas and after high school enlisted in the US Marine Corp and proudly served for four years. In 1976, I joined Luby’s Cafeterias management training program. It was also in 1976 that I met and married my wife, Flo. We have enjoyed 46 years of marriage, 2 children and 4 grandchildren. I remained with Luby’s for 42 years serving in management, upper management and as area vice president.

It was during my tenure with Luby’s in Harlingen, Texas that I met Brick and Beth Cliff and got to know the work of WIN Ministries. I witnessed the "mission" experience through my wife Flo as she traveled with Brick and his team to India in 2008 and as she volunteered in the WIN office. We have had the pleasure of supporting WIN ministries and watching their mission grow through the years. Since my retirement, I have been able to be more involved with Nation-2- Nation Ministries, traveling with them as needed to various  locations in Africa planting schools. The effect that N2N has on the students, family, friends and community can only be described as God’s work. My heart has been forever changed because of the experiences of these trips.

Over the years, we have seen exponential growth. We are now training twenty thousand pastors and leaders in over fifty countries, translating our curriculum into four major languages, and launching N2N in India this Fall!
