I am running the Sussex Half Marathon (my first attempt at such a feat!) in aid of LAMA ministies - a childrens home (and much more) based in the Philippines.

This is a flavour of what they do: As a result of their past experiences many of our boys suffer behavioral and emotional disorders, others suffer developmental or medical challenges resulting from exposure to substance abuse or life on the streets. Ranging in age from seven to twenties they have been removed from their homes due to abuse, neglect or abandonment. They have lost everything; their families, their friends, the familiar neighborhood, their education, and any sense of belonging.

LAMA ministries make a difference to the lives of these boys - and you can help them by sponsoring my run - no matter how small your contribution, you can be assured it will make a difference to a boy in need on the other side of the world!
