Thanks for taking the time to visit my fundraising page. I've never done this online before so sorry if it looks a bit amateurish.

Our team is doing a series of individual fundraising challenges to raise money for Young Life International. I wanted to lead by example.

My story .... 

Having never really recovered from my amicable split from The Proclaimers in 1987 (I wanted to call the song 20 odd miles) it seemed appropriate for me to do my own version of 500 miles. 

I've therefore decided to walk 500 miles (about 1,000,000 steps I reckon) over the next couple of months to raise funds for Young Life International

We work with young people aged 11-17 and aim to introduce them to faith or to help them to grow in their faith. 

We try to meet teenagers where they are and earn the right to be heard by them, helping them navigate life. With CoVid we need to be with them even more and any donation you give will help us to do that. Thank you so much.
