Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. 6 members of the Aboyne Lodge teaching team have grouped together to form a team in the 5k Obstacle Race on September 3rd - Hertfordshire Showground.

The challenge involves no less than 17 obstacles (a bit like bouncy castle madness ) across a gruelling 5k course.

Budgets are forever challenging ( even more so with the cost of living crisis increasing our running costs) and without additional funds the school will be unable to fund new programmes of learning.

So, the team are taking action and hope to raise enough money to fund a new Maths programme called White Rose Maths - a brilliant programme designed to develop Maths Mastery in children. This programme will be used across every year of the school and as such all children will benefit from it over the forthcoming years.

The team's Justgiving page is linked to the ALSA charity and as such they will be able to claim the benefit of Gift Aid ( that's an amazing extra 25%)

The team have a training schedule to follow over the summer so instead of chasing after children at school, they will doing press ups at dawn, lunges at lunch and sit-ups at sundown !
