Over 150,000 of us in the UK have MS. It’s unpredictable and different for everyone. But it doesn’t have to be this way. We’re the MS Society. We understand what life’s like with MS. We're here for you through the highs, lows and everything in between. Together, we are strong enough to stop MS.

Story

Welcome to our JustGiving fundraising page!

In May 2026, Brooks and I will be running the Edinburgh Marathon in support of the MS Society. Running a marathon is something we’ve always wanted to take on, but this time we have a very personal reason for doing it. Last year, my fiancée Caitlin was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis (MS).

The MS Society is an incredible charity that provides support to over 130,000 people in the UK living with MS, while also funding vital research into better treatments and, one day, a cure. Taking on this challenge is our way of raising money to help them continue their work.

We’d be so grateful if you could sponsor us. Your support will not only keep us motivated through the long training miles, but more importantly, it will make a real difference to people living with MS.

How your donation could help:

£5 could pay for laboratory essentials such as petri dishes, latex gloves and microscope slides.

£10 could help pay for the MS Helpline team to answer a call from someone who needs their help.

£20 could fund an hour of research to help understand and manage MS fatigue.

£30 could process one blood sample, giving researchers crucial information about genes and the immune system as they search for new treatments.

£50 could pay for an hour on a microscope, so scientists can study cells and tissue in greater detail and improve their understanding of the biology of MS.

Thank you so much for your support — it really means a lot.
