Story

Hi there,

Thanks for visiting our just giving page

On the 29th July 2018 Nicola ands myself will be attempting the to complete the Prudential Ride London-Surrey 100.

This starts in Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, then follows a 100-mile route on closed roads through the capital and into Surrey’s stunning countryside. With leg-testing climbs and a route made famous by the world’s best cyclists at the London 2012 Olympics, it's going to be a huge test for us both as we have never cycled that distance before. The Prudential RideLondon-Surrey 100 finishes on The Mall in central London.

We are raising money for  The Royal British Legion - Help the Heroes.

The Legion was founded by veterans after the First World War. A century on from the start of that conflict, they are still helping today's Service men and women, veterans, and their families in almost every aspect of daily life. They also champion Remembrance, safeguarding the memory of those who have given their lives for our freedom through Remembrance education and events.

They both provide financial, social and emotional support to millions who have served and are currently serving in the British Armed Forces and their dependents.

The aftercare is hugely important to our service men and women and the Royal British legion have helped our family and friends which we will always be grateful.  Our grandparents always supported the charity and were active members and I always promised that I would carry on their legacy.  Our parents are also members of the Royal British Legion in Spain and help provide a support network over there.

No matter who you are they will have impacted your life in some way or another and its time to give something back to help this very worthwhile charity.

Many thanks for taking the time in reading this.  Any help would be gratefully appreciated

Many thanks

Keith and Nicola
