This years marathon is different for me, as I am raising funds for 2 charities.  MNDA to carry on the association.  But the main one is a local charity based in Great Ayton, Yatton House, charity number 511721, of which I am the Honorary Treasurer.  It is a day centre for people with disabilities.

We are always fundraising to help with the running costs, as the income from users only covers staff costs.

The centre was formed in the 80s and currently is housed in a prefabricated building which is in now in a state of disrepair.  A local benefactor is currently building us a state of the art building at Skutterskelfe between Stokesley and Hutton Rudby.  But we need to fund the inside of it, currently estimated at over £100K.
