Thanks for visiting my fundraising page.

I have decided to establish this page as I believe it to be a very convenient method for people who wish to donate to the Pebbles Project.  
As I am sure many of you know,Pebbles Project is a UK registered charity and thus donations qualify for UK tax relief.
 All of the funds you donate will be paid directly within one week to the charity and the money will be used to help improve the lives of the disadvantaged kids in the Cape winelands that the charity supports.

Specifically,the funds raised from my wine tasting events will all go towards paying for two special needs support teachers for The Pebbles Project

Jo works in the crèches, spending a morning in each crèche giving on-site training for the crèche staff, organising educational activities and giving additional support to any child with specific learning difficulties.  Jo also presents training on a range of topics for the crèche teachers at the monthly group training sessions.

Kirsten works in the afternoons in the After-school clubs.  She is responsible for managing the homework programme, which aims to assist children, aged 6 – 16, with their literacy and maths skills.  Kirsten also supports any children who are struggling with their schoolwork or falling behind their peers in school.

Jo and Kirsten are a huge asset to the organisation and the children benefit enormously from this focused support.
