Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit the Kelburne Skydivers JustGiving page!!

We have now completed our challenge and, thanks to everyone who donated, we smashed our target!!!  You may still make a donation on this page if you wish to, however, from now on 100% of donations will go to Friends of the Beatson.

The Kelburne Cricket, Hockey and Squash club plays a major part in the local community, by providing local children and adults with access to organised sports coaching, and a sense of team spirit that lasts a lifetime. The clubhouse has been the spiritual home to hundreds of Paisley sports men and women, of all ages and abilities, for 150 years. However, the clubhouse building is in urgent need of titivation, so we need to act now to ensure that our clubhouse continues to provide a safe and friendly environment for the next 150 years!

On 23rd July 2011, 4 fearless Kelburne representatives travelled to Perth and risked life and limb in a 10,000 feet tandem skydiving challenge to raise money for the clubhouse fund! The brave volunteers were Jennifer Owen, Clare McKeown, Martin Pearson and Kris McDonald, and they want to thank everyone for their generous donations and messages of support!

So here it is....THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
