I had signed up for the run with my sister and her work colleagues - the 'Trauma Girls' at Treliske Hospital. However, my friends Sandra and John  have recently been diagnosed with cancer and are now undergoing treatment. This makes the whole issue a lot more personal now and I am glad that I can do something in order to raise funds to help combat the disease.
