Story

Joshua James Cullinane was born on the 16 November 2010, he was an amazing little boy that tried so hard to cope with life, unfortunaly my beautiful baby boy was born with a severe and extremly rare genetic condition that meant he little life was too difficult for him and he sadly passed away on the 29th March 2011.

As a family this was the darkest day of our lives.  We felt like we were in a bubble and nothing we could do could get us out.  My daughter Libby had to go through so much as my husband and I tried to struggled to cope.

Demelza Childrens Hospice got us through this sad time and those darkest days, without them we would not be the people we are today.  From making sure we ate, to taking Libby to feed the horses and of course making sure Joshua was as comfortable as he could be.  They made those last few months and days special for us and made sure as a family will held it togther.

This challenge is something so small as they gave us something massive we could never totally repay them, but please help us to help them to continue to do the wonderful work that they do.

Thank you Demelza. xxx
