Hey guys, thanks for coming on to my page! The above paragraph is pretty much just a reassurance that its a safe site and I am of course, not taking money for myself!

But yes, unless I see you in person this is the easiest way for you to donate. I just thought I'd do this zip line because I've finished Uni and its a great time to place my time into something worthwhile. As with many of you, this is the last year of uni, or in fact of education!! And well, for me it was an anti-climax, it's made me realise I need to do more with my life other than the usual student antics and getting a job, and now that I don't have education commitments, it's the best time for it!

I know many of you are students, and money might be tight, but I would really really appreciate anything, even if it's just a £1. I need to raise a minimum of £100, so whatever you could spare would be amazing-cake could be on the agenda! 

The charity I'm raising money for covers a range of help for disabled and disadvantaged children, some who are born with it, and others who are suffering the long lasting consequences of diseases like Leukaemia.

I'm more driven by this notion that, they can't help the things that have happened to them. And it takes me back to every time something bad has happened to me, and that prickling helplessness you feel, because there is nothing you could have done to stop it. I'm sure most of you have felt that at least once in your life, so if I have the chance to ease that frustration and make someone else's life that little bit easier, I'm going to take it and I hope you would too.

The zip line takes place on the 25th June on the gateshead side just underneath the tyne bridge. Its a full day event, so please feel free to come down for cakes and tea! Please get in touch if you need more details and thanks again for coming on here and donating.
