I don't simply want to be a person who looks at disaster images on the TV or on facebook and then carries on with my relatively easy existence.  I want to contribute and make my time count.

I lived in South East Asia for 6 years, consequently I understand what real poverty looks like and also just how much of a difference a small contribution can make.  I am not talking about people being below the poverty line...I am talking about people who had nothing even before the disaster.

The recent Earthquake in Nepal hasnt just killed over 3,000 people, it has left thousands more homeless.  Families, children, young people and the elderly all joined together by their loss of absolutely everything.
