I am participating in Tenby half Marathon on 5th June 2011 with my close friends, raising money for a very worthy cause - Children's Bone Cancer ward in Birmingham Hospital.  This charity was chosen as one of the girls participating was personally affected. Her 8 year old son suffered from Osteosarcoma Cancer. Thankfully for them following a biopsy the cyst in his leg was Benign. However from the trauma, suffering and pain they endured and coming faced with young children who suffered Osteosarcoma cancer, this charity was chosen to assist them in raising funds to provide the suffering children with an adequate playroom, where they will be able to relax in-between treatment.

We have all been out training hard in all sorts of weather conditions for the event and i would like to think we are getting better. We are definately running further (well plodding). But we are all focused on reaching the finish line and completing the challenge for this fantastic charity. Your support would be greatly appreciated - however large or small.
