Jess was diagnosed with stage 4 alveolar Rhabdomyosarcoma (RMS) in June 2019. She died in Great Ormond Street Hospital in October, 6 weeks after her 9th birthday. The cancer had unexpectedly spread to her  brain and spine in spite of scans a few days before showing that she was free of the disease. She was loving, funny, active and until her diagnosis in June, apparently healthy. Cancer robbed her of her life and it devastated her family and friends. 

On October 9th for the second year, we have a team of  13 running the Royal Parks half marathon, in loving memory of Jessica Macqueen. We are raising money for Jessica’s arc in support of Alice’s arc for research. Thinking of you Jess every day, we miss you so much 🦄.
