Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Kevin, Taylor and I will set off on our journey of the West Highland Way on 9 April 2017 covering 96 miles in 5 days staying in hostels and bunkhouses along the way.

To walk the West Highland Way has been a bit of an ambition of Kevin's for a while now and he managed to persuade Taylor and I to join him.

As it is sure to be both mentally and physically challenging we thought what better way to raise funds for a charity close to our hearts.

My Gran (Wee Lottie) has lived with dementia now for about 8 years and has been in a care home for 2, it has been heartbreaking watching her deteriorate so fast and we feel more has to be done to prevent families in the future watching their loved ones go through such a difficult time.

Dementia is so cruel leaving families feeling like they have lost their loved one's before they actually have.

Wee Lottie was an amazing woman and I love her with all my heart.  She was always there for me and I miss her so much.  She doted on her grandchildren and if it was possible doted even more on her great grandchildren Taylor & Mikey.

We will also be joined on our journey by The Bell's, Liam & Liam who will be fundraising separately for St Andrews Hospice.
