So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.</p><p>In memory of our beautiful Deb I have started a quest to try and raise one day's worth of funding for brain tumour reasearch which is £2740! <br/>That's one million pound per year needed to pay for a team of researchers and support staff, headed by a research fellow!it also supplies all material needed such as tissue culture , molecular and chemical reagents, serum and much more <br/>If £2740 is successfully raised then a plaque can be made in Debs memory and placed on the wall of hope at one of the research centres of excellence!</p><p>Debra Espin was sadly diagnosed in December 2013 with a grade 4 glioblastoma brain tumour! This tumour type is among the most aggressive, with only 3.3% of patients surviving for more than two years. Glioblastomas are a highly malignant and invasive form of tumour! </p><p>Deb fought her illness with positivity and dignity until she sadly passed away on 4th December 2015!</p><p>We will continue to fight back by trying to make a difference in her memory! </p><p>On 4th December we successfully raised £540! Which is a great start to the quest! During 2017 I will be organising some events in hope of reaching my target by 4th December 2017!</p><p>Thanks for your support! Let's do this! </p>
