Story
I started off 2020 with the aim to do more for charity and, after much deliberating over what to do, I have decided to do something completely different that will really push me outside of my comfort zone.
2020 not only marks the 30th anniversary of the Wiltshire Air Ambulance but it also marks a year since saying goodbye to a truly remarkable man, and what better way to commemorate his memory than by raising money for a great charity that he liked to support.
So, on the 31st May 2020, I will be joining Wiltshire Air Ambulance and participating in a tandem skydive from 15,000ft, flying at about 125mph whilst I freefall for 60 seconds.
Did you know that an aircraft can be with you within 11 minutes, and they are operational up to 19 hours a day, 365 days of the year? Completing, on average, three potentially lifesaving missions a day the charity needs to raise around £3.75m to continue operating.
Whether you donate pence or pounds, no amount is too small. All donations will be gratefully received so please follow the link and please don’t forget to select Gift Aid.
Thank you so much xx
