Having had cancer 5 times already, I know first hand the great work Macmillan do. In September 2025, same as last year, I’m doing the marathon length Northumberland Coast Mighty Hike. Given that I have Familial Malignant Melanoma, the chance of me having it again is high and there is no remission with this kind of cancer, the best we hope for is no current evidence of disease. I know myself and my family may need support again in the future from Macmillan and I know I’m not alone in this, so the least I can do is try my hardest to raise money for them to continue to provide vital support to so many.
