As my family and friends know, my son Archie has autism and attends a fantastic special school called Tor View.
The school are fundraising £2,000,000 to build a new sports hall for the children who attend Tor View. Tor View Community Special School in Haslingden is appealing for your support in raising two million pounds towards a sports hall, upgraded therapy pool and physiotherapy suite.
Its a lot of money, so as I was lucky enough to get a ballot entry into the Virgin Money London Marathon, I thought Id take advantage and ask my family and friends help support a good cause.
This will be my 1st marathon, I only entered on a whim never thinking I would be one of the lucky ones to get a ballot place.
This is a big challenge for me, 26.2 miles is a LONG way!! But somehow I will do it and get finished.
So if u can donate just a pound or two, it will be helping a fantastic school, with fantastic kids and teachers get their new sports hall.
