Most people who know me know that I have had kidney problems for the 1st 4 years of my life!! I had been on daily oral antibiotics from the age of 2 weeks old until I was 4 and a half years. Unfortunately during this time many of my infections were resistant to the antibiotics causing me to be admitted to hospital on many occasions and required lots of care from nurses and doctors and also meaning I had to have lots and lots of horrible tests. I have since had 2 operations to correct my Renal Reflux and i'm completely off all medication and keeping really well...Due to the amount of infections I have had my kidneys are showing lots of scarring and I still attend urology clinic and surgeon every 4-6 months at Sick Kids Edinburgh. I have been keeping really well this passed year with no infections being present and I will be 6 years old in 6 weeks time!!
