Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I found out about WAAM from the charity trustee and founder Marthe Kiley-Worthington and have decided to support the elephants and their carers for my bronze DofE award. WAAM has done amazing work in publishing welfare standards to make sure all the elephants are
treated in the best possible way.

Update: 7/2/2022

Yesterday we finished the first 10 miles of the walk...only 16 more miles to go

We walked from Instow, and took the long route around to Westward Ho. It took us around 4 and a half hours, and was troubling for the pup because of a sudden, incredibly low flying sandstorm that affected no one else but him, because of his tiny little legs. There were also some high winds that blew the pup's ears back against his head making him look incredibly ridiculous, plus I nearly fell over when I fell asleep walking. Surprisingly the nap actually helped, because I still managed to go some distance even though my eyes were closed.

The next part of the walk will happen in half-term and will probably consist of two 8 mile walks over two days.

Lets hope the weather doesn't make us freeze, or drown in eternal rain...
