I entered the London Marathon Lottery last year after being emotionally overcome watching a friend complete it. I never expected to get a place but clearly luck was on my side. I have been training since April and feel confident I will finish, just not with a record breaking time! 

Dumfries and Galloway Blood Bikes is a charity that provides a free service, run entirely by Volunteers, transporting urgent blood samples, blood, medical equipment, medical notes and medication for the Patients of the NHS in communities across Dumfries and Galloway.They are not employed by the NHS. All of the work they do is funded by donations, so every penny donated is used to keep the wheels turning and helping to save lives, whether it be towards fuel, servicing, safety equipment or running costs, it all helps.
