Thanks for taking the time to visit this JustGiving page, which I have set up in memory of my Dad.

Dad was diagnosed with Throat Cancer last year and after surgery in August and subsequent raidotherapy, unfortunately it became apparent a couple of months ago that the cancer had spread and he was told on 19th March that his condition was terminal and he had little time left, likely weeks. Only 12 days later, Dad passed away.

Unfortunately Dad had a particularly aggresive form of cancer and he bravely confronted his fate. Whilst dealing with the situation and remaining strong for his family, he also volunteered for a pioneering treatment that he knew would not help him, but could help others in their fight against cancer. Unfortunately he became too weak for the pre-treatment assessment and wasn't able to contribute in the way he had hoped....time was simply not on his side. 

So please help Ken, my Dad, to help others by donating. Although he couldn't undertake the pioneering treatment, he with your help can make a difference in helping develop similar treatments and fund research to find a cure.
