Thank you for visiting my JustGiving page. Please join me as I undertake this personal challenge to reach Everest Base Camp in Nepal  I will also be raising vital funds to support serving men and women, veterans and families who will call on SSAFA, the Armed Forces charity for help in time of need. I will be trekking 150k at an altitude of circa 5500m above sea level, with basic rations and accommodation.  It will be cold, arduous and uncomfortable, a bit like being on exercise - well some of them, but I am looking forward to the challenge.  Monies raised will go to the Wiltshire Branch of SSAFA, my home county and where my wife Trish is a volunteer case worker.

Since 1885, thanks to the public's support, SSAFA continues to provide welfare and wellbeing assistance tailored to our Armed Forces community. They know and understand the unique demands of service life, whether in the UK or overseas, and in times of need, they help to enable the Forces family to thrive. Many thanks!
