Earlier this year, the Make a Wish Foundation granted a wish for my 4 year old daughter Katie.  We travelled to London and met Mr Tumble - Katie's favourite CBeebies character.  Katie is going through 18 months of chemotherapy at the moment and this was a wonderful distraction for her.

As I am getting (slightly) fatter and less fit with each passing year, now is the time to start setting some challenges to get me off my backside.  This is the first 10K I have entered and I cannot think of a better cause than Make a Wish, who do so much to give some joy to children with life threatening illnesses.
