Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I've decided to honour my dad's memory and raise some more money for the Alzheimers Dementia Support 'ADS' because my dad suffered from this terrible disease.

So why am I doing this? I wanted to find a way to continue to support this worthy cause that is so needed with over 900,00 people in the UK suffering with this disease which also affected my mum too.

My dad was a hard working man, who loved to laugh and was always helping people.  It didn't matter what time of the day or night, you could call dad and he would be there.  He was well known and well loved and anyone he came in contact with he made them smile. He was stubborn but also kind and would give you his last penny if you needed it. He loved to dance (badly)🤦🏾‍♀️ and would always get up when music was playing, dancing the same steps no matter what the tune.  🤣

My dad sadly passed away in December last year aged 84 and losing him as well as mum has been the single most difficult and life-changing event of my life so far. So I would like to help this charity to help other people who have been touched in some way by this disease.
