Story

One day in work, I was inspired by a clients experience of walking her own Kilt Walk. It was at that moment I decided I needed to do one for myself! Within days I had reached out and convinced my sister to join me along on the journey.

We have chosen to do the Dundee Kilt Walk and picked our charity to be the Scottish Action for Mental Health. When we both looked through the list of charities it was obvious it would be a mental health organisation. As we have both suffered with our mental health in the past and have anxieties on the daily that we battle through for our kid, it only seemed fitting that we do it for this cause 🤍 Choosing a Scottish based charity was imperative. Where the resources can hopefully be used for people around us who are fighting their battles too. Which is how the SAMH charity was chosen and we are so glad to be fundraising for them during our Kilt Walk journey.

We will post updates over the next 12 weeks. We have already started building up our walking miles. So follow us along on journey and please donate if you can. Any donation no matter how little will be so greatly appreciated!

Wish us luck and a smooth 21.9 mile walk on the day 😂🥰
