Having booked myself on this trip and my work being kind enough to allow me the time off to do it ( Thank you Morson Wynnwith) i decided i would like to raise some money for Tall Ships Youth Trust. I have done some youth work with young people in the past who have been in trouble or lacked direction in life and i feel that if they are given the chance to go sailing it can be the catalyst towards changing their lives for the better. I am raising money to enable Tall Ships Youth Trust can give bursarys to young people to subsidise a trip onboard one of their 72 foot Challenger yachts or the Stavros S Niarchos Tall ship, a Brig that has a crew of 69. I hope i can raise as much as possible to try and provide as many bursaries as i can.
