My sister, Sara, and I are running the half marathon in this years great Scottish run on 2nd October 2022 in aid of Amend, the association for multiple endocrine neoplasia disorders.

Our mum, Christine, had 2 small benign tumours on her adrenal glands back in 2020 and it was decided that no treatment was required. However, in May this year, it was discovered that not only had the tumours became cancerous but had spread to her l lungs and liver with no real option of treatment and little time left with us.

Although there is nothing that can help our Mum, we are looking to raise as much funds as possible for Amend with a view of helping other patients and families associated with this rare disorder.
