Suzy Lamplugh Trust is the national personal safety charity and aims to help everyone in society to lead safer, more confident lives. Through advice, information, resources, training, community talks and projects, it deals with issues from walking alone at night to staying safe whilst keeping fit, from people working in vulnerable situations to children using the internet and from reducing elderly people's fear of crime to raising awareness of the dangers faced by boys and young men. It works throughout the UK to give people the information and skills they need to live their lives to the full, confidently and safely.

Story

In April 2013 I will put my 50 year old body through the pain of its first (and only ever) marathon to raise money for the Suzy Lamplugh Trust.

The Suzy Lamplugh Trust was set up by my wife's parents in 1986 following the disappearance of her sister, Suzy.  Tirelessly they worked together to help everyone Live Life, Safely.  Please do look at their website for more information - www.suzylamplugh.org

In August 2011, my wife's mother, Diana died following 8 years of living with Alzheimers and the previous 17 years of leading the Trust.

In April 2013 I will be making a special effort to remember Suzy and Diana and contribute towards their charity, the Suzy Lamplugh Trust. Please can you make your donation (big or small) to help the Trust continue their great work.

Every penny you give will go to the Trust and will help them help you and your children, live life safely. Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
